1. What DrivioCam Does

DrivioCam helps users turn a smartphone into a dash camera. The app can record video and audio, capture location and speed data, save recordings, detect motion while parked, and help users review saved videos.

2. Information We Collect and Use

DrivioCam may access the following information or device features:

Camera

Used to record road video and motion-triggered event footage.

Microphone

Used to record audio together with video, if enabled.

Location

Used to calculate or display trip-related location and speed information and embed that information in recordings when enabled.

Photos / Media / Storage

Used to save recorded videos and allow users to browse, review, delete, and share their recordings.

Notifications

Used to send local alerts on the device, such as motion event notifications while the vehicle is parked.

Purchase Information

If a user buys a lifetime license, the app may access transaction status from Apple or Google to unlock paid features and restore purchases.

Trial / License Verification Data

If trial or license verification is enabled, the app may send limited technical and license-related information to our server, such as app version, license status, request metadata, and device-related identifiers necessary to validate trial eligibility or license state.

3. User Content

DrivioCam may create and store recordings, including:

• Video
• Audio, if not disabled by the user
• Timestamps
• Speed data
• Location data, if enabled by the user

These recordings are user content. They are primarily stored on the user's device unless the user explicitly exports or shares them through another app or service.

4. How We Use Information

We use information only to:

• Provide recording, playback, and sharing features
• Enable parking mode and motion event recording
• Display timestamp, speed, and location-related trip details
• Verify trial access or paid license status
• Restore purchases
• Improve app reliability and fix issues

Recordings and related media remain on the device until total video size reaches the storage limitation in settings, or the user deletes them, unless exported elsewhere by the user.

Trial or license verification records may be retained only as long as necessary for fraud prevention, license enforcement, support, legal compliance, and operational security.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information we process. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

DrivioCam is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in the user's jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Use

If users access the app from outside North America, information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
